Indeed, weighing in at a hefty 7,000+ yards, it is one of the toughest golf courses in the region. It first opened its greens and fairways in a blaze of publicity in 1990 and since then has gone on to become one of the most well respected and well known golfing venues in the region; a reputation enhanced by its hosting a number of championship events notably the European Ladies Open and the English Open.
